Space Clearing Defined

bn14374_28a-female-swimming-in-crystal-clear-waters-bahamas-postersI spent most of my younger life in Oklahoma. And while I loved spending time in the water and nature, one of my least favorite things to do was to swim in the lake closest to our home. The lake was man-made and had tons of clay, making it appear red! I never knew what was under my feet as I jumped out of the boat or off of the dock and I always felt the dirt cling to me as I got out of the water. Not a fun experience.

Then, as I traveled and experienced the water in Florida, California, Virginia, and the Caribbean and I was amazing by how much clearer the water felt, and how much better I felt. After choosing Northwest Arkansas for my home-base in the U.S., I realize how much happier I am in the flow of the Buffalo River or swimming in Lake Ouachita. It parallels the difference that living in a clear space can make, versus living in and being bathed constantly by stagnant energy.

Have you ever walked into a space after a heated argument or fight? You might have noticed how the air was so thick, it could be cut with a knife!  Well, just as dirt and mud can be tracked into a room on the bottom of your shoes, highly charged experiences can leave behind residue – what could be compared to a shadow of thoughts and feelings in the space -  an energetic “footprint” on the environment.

These footprints build up over time, layer upon layer, and have an effect on the health and well-being of the people who inhabit the space.

Just like removing layers of dust, dirt and buildup are important to a clean environment, it is also important to clear the energy of the space and remove stagnant, heavy residue that hangs around and gets in the way of clear thinking and healthy living.

Space clearing for the home can be important when:

  • Selling property that is not attracting any offers
  • Moving into a new home to clear energetic footprints from the previous owners
  • In the aftermath of a long-term illness, death, or divorce
  • Noticing that a room feels uncomfortable or “off” (odd temperature fluctuations, noises, sensations, etc.)
  • Spring cleaning
  • Making significant life changes such as welcoming a new baby, changing career paths, combining households and welcoming a new husband or wife into your home.

Commercial situations for space clearing might include:

  • Offices and conference rooms where negotiations take place
  • Factory floors
  • Hospitals (emergency rooms, operating rooms, patient rooms)
  • Doctor’s offices
  • Dental offices
  • Waiting rooms
  • Massage therapy rooms
  • Hospice clinics

Where do you feel pulled down by the weight of the energy surrounding you?

Just received this feedback from a client I had back in 2007:

“I had only known Ms. Daniels a short time and was lamenting the fact that my house that was nearly 100 years old had been on the market for nearly six months with only a few people viewing it’s nearly 2500 sq ft. I had a new place picked out and was anxious to move!

Part of the reason I was moving is that, while spacious, people didn’t like to visit because the house gave them the ‘creeps.’ I personally thought it was an amazing house, full of light, high ceilings, and lots of character. Most people congregated in the huge kitchen/dining area where the entire wall was made of windows. It did have an upstairs where most people would never venture. All in all, it was just too big for me.

Ms. Daniels offered her services and, while a little dubious but desperate, I accepted.

I was fascinated that her dowsing rods moved at EVERY space that people had commented about PLUS several more places in the sprawling house.

Needless to say, in no time at all, a family showed up at my door with a realtor, without any appointment, and asked if they could look at the house. I excused myself and let them in.

I had a contract the very next day! Coincidence? I THINK NOT!

From there, I moved into a lovely modern condo…which I also had Ms. Daniels give the “once over as well.”

    Thanks, Christi!
